The organized provision of medical care to individuals or a community.
Government Funded Healthcare
Proponents of government funded healthcare believe the government should provide all people access to quality, essential care throughout their lives, regardless of their ability to pay. They believe doing so will create a healthier population through preventative care and regular monitoring by primary care physicians.
Proponents of a private healthcare argue that it gives Americans more flexibility in choosing doctors and medical facilities that meet their needs. They argue that private industry provides higher quality and more cost-effective healthcare experiences than the government could.
