Climate Change

Climate Change
Refers to significant changes in global temperature, precipitation, wind patterns and other measures of climate that occur over several decades or longer.
Climate Change Acceptance
Proponents of climate change acceptance argue that levels of atmospheric greenhouse gases are a direct result of human activities such as burning fossil fuels, and that these increases are causing significant and increasingly severe climate changes. They believe immediate international action is necessary to prevent irrevocable harms to ecological health.
Climate Change Doubt
Proponents of climate change doubt argue that human-generated greenhouse gas emissions are too small to substantially change the earth's climate and that the planet is capable of absorbing those increases. They say that the theory of human-caused global climate change is based on questionable measurements, faulty climate models, and misleading science.
