American politician from Michigan
Michael J. Rogers (born June 2, 1963) is an American former law enforcement officer and politician who served as the U.S. representative for Michigan's 8th congressional district. A Republican, Rogers served from 2001 to 2015. From 2011 to 2015, he was chair of the United States House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence. Rogers was hired by CNN as its national security news expert. He also served as an executive producer for the CNN program Declassified: Untold Stories of American Spies.Rogers is a candidate in the 2024 United States Senate election in Michigan.
