Michael Ted Evans (born September 16, 1975) is an American politician. He is a member of the Mississippi House of Representatives from the 43rd District, being first elected in 2011 as a member of the Democratic party.In 2018, Evans ran for the United States House of Representatives from Mississippi's 3rd congressional district. He lost to Michael Guest.In January 2020, he left the Democratic Party and became an Independent.
