Michael Ted Evans (born September 16, 1975) is an American politician. He is a former member of the Mississippi House of Representatives from the 45th District, being first elected in 2011 as a member of the Democratic party and serving till 2024. In 2018, Evans ran for the United States House of Representatives from Mississippi's 3rd congressional district. He lost to Michael Guest. In January 2020, he left the Democratic Party and became an independent.
