Rushern L. Baker III (born October 24, 1958) is an American lawyer and politician. A member of the Democratic Party, he was elected county executive of Prince George's County, Maryland in 2010 and won re-election in 2014. In 2017 and 2018, he mounted an unsuccessful primary campaign to become Governor of Maryland. On April 8, 2021, he announced that he would run for governor again in 2022.
