More Information

In a Primary Election, unaffiliated voters may cast a ballot for any on political party. If an unaffiliated voter returns a ballot with more than one political party, the ballot will be rejected and none of the votes will be counted. Voters affiliated with a major party are to cast a ballot for candidates of the party they are affiliated with.

All registered Colorado voters receive mail ballots. You only need to apply for an absentee ballot if you need your ballot mailed someplace other than your usual address.

All voters who vote at the polls must provide identification. If you are voting by mail for the first time, you may also need to provide a photocopy of your identification when you return your mail ballot.
