Francis Allen-Palenske (born 1977) is an American business owner and former elected official. She was a member of the Nevada Assembly from 2004 to 2008 and was the first Asian-American woman elected to the Assembly. She is an owner/operator of a Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop system including having served three years as the Las Vegas Advertising Co-Op President determining where $200k advertising dollars were spent annually. She is married to Steve Palenske, Fire Captain and 23-year veteran of the City of Las Vegas Fire Department. They have three children and reside in Northwest Las Vegas. She is bilingual, speaking both English and Korean.
Allen-Palenske holds a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Business from the University of Nevada, Reno. She is also a founding class member and graduate of Galena High School in Reno, Nevada.
