Lisa LaTrelle Blunt Rochester (née Blunt; born February 10, 1962) is an American politician serving as the U.S. representative for Delaware's at-large congressional district since 2017. A member of the Democratic Party, she is the first woman and first African American to represent Delaware in Congress.Blunt Rochester has announced her candidacy to represent Delaware in the United States Senate in the 2024 election. If elected, she would be the first woman and person of color to represent Delaware in the Senate.
